We have already principally or partially engaged in a lot of work related to planning strategy, policy evaluation and consultation for Chinese government ministries, such as China National Intellectual Property Strategy, Strategy for the Protection of PVP(Ministry of Agriculture, MOA); Planning for PVP protection in agriculture for the fifteenth consecutive year (MOA); Strategy for Intellectual Property Rights in agriculture; Pre-investigation for the legislation of regulation of the People’s Republic of China on the protection of new plant varieties , PVP system in the main nations and regions of the Asia, and the enforcement of plant breeder’s rights.

Through the years, our members, often as experts on behalf of MOA, have participated in international negotiations on farmers’ rights, access and benefit-sharing of genetic resources, PVP, etc.

Furthermore, we apply for funding from the National Natural Science Foundation of China, National Social Science Foundation of China, Chinese government ministries, international organizations and other sources. To date, we have already published several quality articles in the fields of PVP and the conservation of GR in some international and Chinese journals, books, and conferences.
